| wow-i'm terrible at updating this silly thing. i know i've said that like a gazillion times...but its obviously true. christmas break was super awesome - spent a lot of time with my family, worked a lot (yay for having money..boo for it going to car insurance), saw all my girls from home...yes it was good times. hmmm...thats enough about break.
being back at school is so nice. and my new major?! oh let me tell you i've never been so happy. it is soooo awesome...like...oh my gosh i cant even explain how happy i am. it was definitely the right choice to do this. like, i look forward to going to my classes, i love learning about being a teacher...it really is just so great. i really dont miss dancing at all. i mean everynow and then i find myself dancing around in my dorm room, but there really is no desire to go take a class, at least not yet. for now i'm super happy being a political science/secondary ed major. i just cant wait to graduate and actually get out there and start teaching. i've been doing a lot of thinking and i think that i would really like to get my phd in politics. maybe teach at a university...get involved in government stuff...who knows. but there are so many possibilities out there for me. oh i love it:)
of course i cant get thru an entry without mentioning tony! today is actually our one and a half year anniversary!!! woop woop. things are going so well for us. ooo i love him.
ooooo guess what? my cousin becca is engaged!!!!! shes getting married to her fiance, jason, on JULY 9TH (OF THIS YEAR!) yup....gotta act quickly. its because jason is in the navy and for the next 2 years or so he's gonna be moving around a lot, so they figured why wait two years. it makes sense. but i'm gonna be becca's maid of honor!!!! oh my gosh i'm so excited. and then like 2 weeks after her wedding i go to oklahoma for liz lieberts wedding!!! ooooo sooooo much love in the air. hehehehe. but all this wedding stuff makes me realize that as much as i cant wait to get married one day (hopefully to tony) i so am not ready for it. its not that i'm scared to commit myself to one person, its that i'm almost kinda afraid to really grow up. which kinda doesnt make sense coz i just said like 2 minutes ago how much i cant wait to graduate and actually teach...i know i'm a complex person. but anyways...i'm super happy for becca and liz. its gonna be a FUN summer:)

| yay!!! i go home TODAY!!! ooooo i'm sooooo freakin' excited. i just can't believe the semester is over already. it definitely went by so fast. what really scares me though is that next semester i wont be a dance major anymore - i'm excited for the switch, but its gonna be really weird. i'll still be taking classes so thats good, but i think i'm gonna feel like an "outsider" or something. idk, we'll see. i'm just so excited to have a month off! to work and finally have a lil money, see all my girls from home, spend time with my family (yay scott's gonna be home for christmas!!!!). oooo i LOVE the holidays!
